Our Selected Heirloom Tomato Seeds

Each packet contains at least 25 untreated heirloom tomato seeds, carefully selected for flavour, performance, and diversity.

Big Rainbow:

A striking bi-colour heirloom with golden skin and red marbling. Produces large, meaty fruits often exceeding 500 g, with a fragrant, fruity sweetness and low acidity. An indeterminate variety that performs best with staking and consistent watering. Ideal for fresh eating, platters, salsa, bruschetta, and light cooking.

Burnley Sure Crop:

An Australian favourite developed at Burnley Horticultural College in the 1940s. Semi-determinate plants produce smooth, bright-red fruits around 150–200 g with a balanced, mildly sweet flavour. A reliable, high-yielding variety well suited to sauces, slicing, and everyday cooking.

Green Zebra:

A distinctive American heirloom with green-striped fruits that develop golden undertones when ripe. Small to medium fruits have a tangy, zesty flavour with refreshing sharpness. An indeterminate variety that’s perfect for salads, salsa, and colourful platters.

Ice:

An Italian heirloom producing clusters of pale ivory fruits that blush cream-yellow when ripe. Small, sweet, and low-acid, these delicate tomatoes are ideal for salads and grazing boards. Indeterminate plants perform best in full sun with staking support.

Jubilee Yellow:

A classic golden-orange heirloom introduced in the 1940s. Indeterminate plants produce smooth, round fruits with mild sweetness and low acidity. Excellent for salads, sandwiches, and cooking thanks to their thick, crack-resistant skin.

Mortgage Lifter:

A legendary American beefsteak bred in the 1930s. Produces huge pink-red fruits that can reach up to 1 kg, with rich, meaty flavour and balanced sweetness. Indeterminate and high-yielding, ideal for slicing, sauces, and bottling.

Reisetomate:

A unique German heirloom that forms lobed, clustered fruits that pull apart like bunches. Tangy and slightly sour, this variety is grown as much for curiosity as flavour. Indeterminate plants are fun to grow and suit snacking, platters, and fresh eating.

Saint Pierre:

A traditional French heirloom grown since the 1800s. Indeterminate plants bear smooth, deep-red fruits with rich, balanced flavour. Performs well in cooler climates and is ideal for sauces, bottling, and slicing.

Silvery Fir Tree:

A compact, determinate Russian heirloom known for its fine, fern-like foliage and early harvest. Produces small to medium fruits with mild, tangy flavour. Well suited to containers, small gardens, sauces, and fresh eating.

Thai Pink Egg:

A charming Thai heirloom producing glossy, pale-rose, egg-shaped fruits that ripen from pearl-white to pink. Sweet, gently tangy, and crisp, this indeterminate variety is prolific and perfect for snacking, salads, pickling, or light cooking.
